ABSTRACTFormulation Of Soup Strips Using Pam Vegan Soup Mix,Green Leafy vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet. Eating a diet rich in leafy greens can offer numerous health benefits including reduced risk of Anaemia, obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure and mental decline. The soups and soup products are mostly prepared using ingredients such as meat, pulse, cream, fruits or vegetables or in combination. Among these, soups made of vegetables are commonly consumed.The present research aims to formulate a value added product soup strips, which is prepared by using three organically harvested greens which could be a super supplement for the anemic adolescent girls to boost up their hemoglobin content. Nowadays, Ready to Cook foods have become popular due to the fast-developing urban lifestyle Ready To Serve (RTS) or convenience foods are foods that are processed to cook readily with very little extra efforts. So as a new invention we have tried the soup mix preparation using green leafy vegetables. The soup mix was first prepared using tri(PAM)greens powder and other ingredients. They were selected, processed and powdered using a cabinet dryer and then the soup is prepared and formulated in the form of soup strips. These soup strips can be readily used to treat and prevent anemia. The aim of this research is to save time and to promote the importance of these Tri greens (PAM)in RTS form. The detailed discription of PAM is Palak: Amaranthus: Moringa .The shelf life study revealed that the formulated PAM VEGAN soup strips can be stored for more than three months.
