The invention provides a method for determining plant-derived components in meat foods based on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The method includes preparing standard plant samples, performing high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry combined determination and standard plant component characteristic polypeptide screening, pretreating to-be-determined meat foods, determining characteristic polypeptides in the meat foods through high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and comparing the characteristic polypeptides in the meat foods with those of standard plant components so as to judge the corresponding plant-derived components. The method has the advantages that the method is capable of quickly screening the characteristic polypeptides and accurately identifying multiple kinds of plant-derived components in meat; a target protein screening process is optimized, an effective target protein number is centralized, a screening speed of specific polypeptides is increased greatly, screening efficiency of the specific polypeptides is improved substantially, and a stable, specific, sensitive and high-throughput analysis method is provided for determination of the plant-derived components in the meat foods.
