The above antigen is a mixture of a plural number of food allergens including undenatured and/or denatured substances recognized by IgE antibody of patients with food allergy. The above antibody is an antibody obtained by immunizing an animal with the above−mentioned antigen. According to the above method of detecting food allergens with the use of the antibody, food allergens and food allergy−inducing foods can be detected, thereby contributing to the insurance of patients against food allergy.
