This warehouse management device (1) has: a product identification information acquisition unit (11) for acquiring product identification information for identifying a product; a memory unit (12) for storing information about products, information about containers for storing products, information about transfer machines (2), and information about product storage locations; an incoming storage management unit (13) for selecting, on the basis of the information stored in the memory unit (12), a container for storing a target product, which is the product indicated by the product identification information, a transfer machine 2 for transferring the container in which the target product is stored, and a storage location for the target product; and a transfer machine management unit (14) for transmitting an instruction to the transfer machine (2) selected by the incoming management unit (13) which instructs said machine to transfer the container, which was selected by the incoming storage management unit (13) and has the target product stored therein, to the storage location selected by the incoming storage management unit (13).
