A method of producing a micellized solution includes heating a surfactant to a temperature of not more than 60-65°С under simultaneous agitation, adding to the resulting solution liquorice extract and/or at least one substance isolated from said extract, and subsequently heating the resulting mixture to a temperature of 83-87°С under simultaneous agitation until a transparent solution is formed, wherein the content of surfactant in the solution is at least 60-99 wt%, and the content of liquorice extract and/or at least one substance isolated from said extract is not more than 40 wt%. Also used to produce the solution are the following water-soluble and/or fat-soluble auxiliary ingredients: vitamin C, vitamin E, glycerine, propylene glycol, fatty acid triglycerides and tocopherols, in an amount of 1-20 wt%. The invention makes it possible to produce a stable micellized solution of liquorice extract and/or at least one substance isolated from said extract, which exhibits both water-soluble and fat-soluble properties, has improved bioavailability, is capable of remaining transparent upon dilution with water, and can be used as an active ingredient in the manufacture of dietary supplements, cosmetics or agents for skin care or regeneration.
