Specifically, the hollow nanoparticles are provided with: a hollow core having an empty interior; a first shell made of silica; and a second shell made of metal oxide or silicate, such that it is difficult for moisture, organic binders, and resins and the like to infiltrate the hollow space, and thus the hollow nanoparticles have functionality such as low refraction, low reflection, low dielectric strength, etc., and can be reliably applied to communication devices and substrate materials of electronic devices including display materials.
