The present litter is in the form of pellets having a diameter of 6±0.1 mm and a length of from 5 to 25 mm. The raw material from which said pellets are made is brewers’ grain husks separated from the edible part of malted barley. In addition to removing unpleasant smells, the claimed domestic pet litter provides for the prevention or repair of cracked paw pads in domestic pets.
