The present invention concerns a self-emulsifying solid particle at body temperature comprising: - from 50% to 90% by weight, with respect to the weight of the particle, of at least one fatty substance having a melting point in the range from 40°C to 90°C, - from 5% to 50% by weight, with respect to the weight of the particle, of at least one fatty substance having a melting point lower than 40°C, and - from 1 to 50%, with respect to the weight of the particle, of at least one emulsifier, wherein said at least one fatty substance having a melting point in the range from 40°C to 90°C is selected from the group consisting of glycerol behenate, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, vegetable stearin, bees wax, carnauba wax and candelilla wax, wherein said at least one fatty substance having a melting point lower than 40°C is selected from the group consisting of cocoa butter, margarine, butter, olive oil, linseed oil, grape seed oil and medium chain triglycerides (MCT) and the at least one emulsifier is a polysorbate (Polyoxyethylene Sorbitan Monooleate). The self-emulsifying solid particle of the invention may comprise at least one active ingredient falling in the BCS (Biopharmaceutical Classification System) Class 2, 3 or 4.
