The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine-based moisturizer preparation method, which is characterized in that the moisturizer comprises the following raw materials: 25-45% of pearlescent pigment, 8-15% of a dispersant, and 1-5% of an aloe extract; 1-5% of glycerol; the pearlescent oil is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 1 to 5 percent of olive oil, 5 to 10 percent of 1.3-butanediol, 0.1 to 1 percent of glycyrrhizin, 0.05 to 1 percent of biotin, 0.01 to 0.1 percent of copper peptide, 1 to 10 percent of shea butter, 1 to 10 percent of palmitic acid, 0.1 to 1 percent of triethanolamine, 0.1 to 1 percent of vitamin E acetate, 0.1 to 1 percent of pearlescent oil and 20 to 50 percent of water. The skin care product does not contain heavy metals, is non-toxic and non-irritant, is mild to use, adopts natural plant extracts as core components, and reduces damage caused by long-term accumulation of chemical raw materials on skin.
