The inducer mix comprises glycerol, olive oil, and coconut oil in the ratio of 1:1:1.The process for inducing rhamnolipid production comprising the following steps : (a) Mixing and inoculating a mineral salt broth, a bacteria (biosurfactant producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Pseudomonas azotoformans or Pseudomonas putida ), and 2 ml of a inducer mixer; (b) Addition of 1 ml of said inducer mixer at 36 hr from the start of incubation; (c) Addition of 1 ml of said inducer mixer at 48 hr of incubation and (d) Addition of 1 ml of said inducer mixer at 60 hr of incubation; and (e) Extraction and collection of rhamnolipid at 72 hr. The process enhanced the production of rhamnolipid and increases the yield by 15 to 35%.
