The Nano-sanitizer comprises a nano-formulation consisting of non-thermal atmospheric plasma treated ozone impregnated virgin olive oil. The nano-suspension comprises of droplets of size in the range of 250nm~255 nm. These droplets are formed by the activity of non-thermal atmospheric plasma treated on virgin olive oil which leads to its ozonation in an ethanol-water medium. Therefore, the nano droplets are made of ozone impregnated olive oil. These nano droplets have the potential mechanism of the generation of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and Reactive Nitrogen Species (RNS) through the generated plasma thus, contributing to the anti- microbial activity of the nano sanitizer. The nano-sanitizer shows a greater anti-bacterial property to destroy S. hominis , in comparison to 70% alcoholic solution.
