The dispensing cap includes a movable cap and a cap base snap-fitted to the neck. The movable cap has an inner housing that is in fluid communication with a discharge hole through which the olive oil is dispensed. The cap base has a dispensing channel that is in fluid communication with an interior of the bottle and the inner housing of the movable cap. The cap base includes a shutter for closing the discharge hole of the movable cap. The movable cap has an inner threaded surface that cooperates with an outer threaded surface of the cap base to axially move the movable cap between a closing position and a dispensing position. In the closing position the shutter closes the discharge hole.
