APPLICATION OF STRAIN OF BACILLUS VELEZENSIS IN EXTRACTION OF HEPARIN FROM AQUATIC PRODUCTS

Provided is an application of a strain of Bacillus velezensis HL-5 for improving the rate of heparin extraction from aquatic products; the Bacillus velezensis HL-5 was preserved in Guangdong Microbial Culture Collection Center on 02 July 2018, with the preservation number GDMCC No: 60403. The strain is applied to the extraction of shellfish heparin; compared to traditional enzymolysis methods, the rate of heparin extraction is increased by 10.55-72.07%. The Bacillus velezensis HL-5 has a strong ability to produce lipase and protease, having good prospects for application in the extraction of heparin from aquatic products.
