The invention provides health-care rice wine and a brewing method thereof, and relates to the technical field of wine brewing. The health-care rice wine is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 5 to 20 parts of rhizoma polygonati, 5 to 15 parts of fructus schizandrae, 1 to 10 parts of herba gerberae piloselloidis, 1 to 8 parts of herba cistanche, 3 to 12 parts of radix dipsaci, 2 to 10 parts of radix gentianae macrophyllae, 1 to 8 parts of radix astragali seu hedysari, 10 to 30 parts of dry yeast and 300 to 400 parts of grains. The health-care rice wine has the health-care effects of tonifying qi and yin, tonifying kidney and yang, clearing away heat and toxic materials and the like, and can improve organism immunity, protect liver cells, balance blood pressure, regulate nervous centralis and relieve fatigue. According to the brewing method, the traditional Chinese medicinal materials are prepared into medicine koji, and the medicine koji is added into the brewing process of the rice wine, so that effective components of the traditional Chinese medicinal materials can be better extracted and utilized, and the health-care effect of the rice wine is enhanced.
