The crown 5 is flattened so as to provide an annular flattened portion 6 on which the bucket or cooler 1 may stand firmly on a flat surface. A cover may optionally be fitted. The portion 6 surrounds a recessed portion 7 and the bowl 2 of the bucket etc has a flange 3 terminating in a thickened peripheral portion 4.
