The ornamental tomato cultivation method is characterized in that a tree-shaped tomato can be acquired through a grafting method; scions are grafted on a main stem or a lateral branch of a stock, and the number of the scions is one or two; the stock may be a cultivation type tomato variety, and also may be a wild type nightshade; the scions are acquired from a tomato variety, wherein fruits of the tomato variety have different shapes, different sizes and different colors while the fruits are ripe; the cultivation manner is selected from one of a medium cultivation manner and a water cultivation manner. The problem that the conventional tomato cultivation methods are single in variety and color can be effectively solved through grafting; fruit shapes, sizes and colors are enriched on the basis of a tree-shaped structure of the same tomato plant, and excellent ornamental value is given to the tomato; and the ornamental tomato is not limited to potted microminiaturization, and the tomato fruits are not single any more.
