The invention provides a method for quickly identifying a tomato yellow leaf curl virus and a tomato chlorosis virus, and belongs to the field of plant protection. Three primers of [A]TYTO_R, [B]TY_Fand [C]To_R are designed according to nucleotide sequences of the tomato yellow leaf curl virus and the tomato chlorosis virus, wherein an A/C combination is used for detecting the tomato chlorosis virus, and the A/B combination is used for detecting the tomato yellow leaf curl virus. Total RNA is extracted from samples, RT-PCR needs to be performed only once, two viruses of the tomato yellow leafcurl virus and the tomato chlorosis virus can be detected, and identification of the two viruses can be realized. The tomato yellow leaf curl virus is a DNA virus, and the tomato chlorosis virus is an RNA virus, so that by a traditional detection method, DNA and RNA need to be respectively extracted for detection. By the method disclosed by the invention, only RNA in the samples needs to be extracted, and the synchronous detection of the two viruses can be realized, so that the cost can be greatly reduced, time is saved, and the method is a specific, acute, economic and convenient detection method.
