Fecha de publicación: 13/05/2009 Fuente: Wipo tomato PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing lycopene-enriched tomato-rice by spraying a concentrated tomato liquid to rice and drying the tomato-sprayed rice. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing lycopene-enriched tomato-rice comprises the following steps of: pulverizing 2 parts of raw tomato in a mixer; boiling the pulverized material at the temperature of 100°C and filtering the tomato concentrate; spraying the 5(v/w)% of tomato concentrate to 100(v/w)% of polished rice in order to coat the polished rice with the tomato concentrate; and drying the polished rice with the tomato concentrate until the rice has moisture content of 13% or less. The tomato represents fully ripe tomato, overproduced tomato, bruised tomato and inferior tomato. ©KIPO 2009
