The present invention relates to a method for preparing fast-fermented bean paste containing tomato, and to the fast-fermented bean paste containing tomato prepared therefrom. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the method for preparing fast-fermented bean paste containing tomato, which removes bad smells which are peculiar to fast-fermented bean paste and improves storage using tomato, and increases the content of lycopene which is a functional component of tomato, thereby satisfying convenience, nutritional demand, and functional requirements. The preparation method comprises the steps of: cooling boiled beans, inoculating 0.5 to 1 wt% of Bacillus subtilis based on the weight of bean, fermenting the same at 30 to 45 for 3 to 5 days, and obtaining fast-fermented bean paste.
