The method comprises the following steps: scion and rootstock selection, grafting preparation, grafting, and management after grafting. According to the invention, the tomato is a main planting variety of vegetables, and is a quite common homemade vegetable on the dinner table; meanwhile, the tomato is susceptible to fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, bacterial wilt, root-knot nematode and the like; once the tomato is infected, yield reduction may be caused, and more seriously, no production may be caused; and enormous losses are caused to pepper planters. Thus, with the wild tomato as a rootstock, the tomato is grafted, so the resistance of the tomato to the fusarium wilt, the verticillium wilt and the bacterial wilt can be greatly improved, and the planting risk of vegetable farmers is greatly reduced; the wild tomato has a well-developed root system, so the survival rate of a grafted seedling is guaranteed; and the tomato and the wild tomato belong to Solanaceae, and scions and the rootstock have strong affinity, so the success rate of grafting is significantly improved, and the growth rate of the grafted seedling after grafting is accelerated.
