Application of tomato TGase gene in improvement of abiotic stress resistance of tomatoes

The invention provides application of a tomato TGase gene in improvement of abiotic stress resistance of tomatoes. The application comprises the following steps: (a) extracting total RNA from tender leaves of a target plant; (b) carrying out reverse transcription on the total RNA of the target plant to obtain cDNA; (c) amplifying the TGase gene by taking the cDNA obtained in the step (b) as a template, and connecting a TGase amplification product into a basic vector to obtain an overexpression vector of the tomato TGase gene; (d) transferring the overexpression vector of the tomato TGase geneobtained in the step (c) into agrobacterium tumefaciens to obtain agrobacterium tumefaciens engineering bacteria A containing the overexpression vector of the tomato TGase gene; (e) transforming the agrobacterium tumefaciens engineering bacterium A containing the overexpression vector of the tomato TGase gene in the step (d) into a target plant explant, and improving the expression of the tomato TGase gene to obtain a transgenic plant with the overexpressed tomato TGase gene. Results show that the expression quantity of the tomato TGase gene in the plant is increased, and the abiotic stress resistance can be enhanced.
