According to the present invention, the method for diagnosing a tomato growth step comprises the steps of: (a) periodically observing a growth state of a tomato; (b) inputting growth state information of the tomato; (c) determining a growth step of the tomato according to the inputted growth state information of the tomato in an input part; (d) storing the determined growth step of the tomato; (e) comparing the stored growth step information of the tomato with previously stored growth step information of the tomato to determine a growth direction; and (f) outputting a necessary measure for growth according to the determined growth direction.
