Additionally, the disclosure encompasses vaccines containing said antigen, their uses, and methods of manufacturing. The IL-11 antigen is designed in such a way that the vaccine induces antibodies which neutralise IL-11 by preventing its interaction with IL-11Rα but does not induce gp130 signaling.
