The method includes identifying a category of displayed food items on a display stand in front of which a user is located in a store, generating shopping information related to stored food items included in the identified category among one or more food items stored in a refrigerator, and transmitting the generated shopping information to a user terminal, wherein the shopping information includes at least one of a list of the stored food items, locations of the stored food items, an internal image displaying the stored food items, a required list requiring purchase in the category, recipe information related to the displayed food items and the stored food items, and recommended storage location information related to where the displayed food items are to be stored in the refrigerator.
