In an embodiment, one or more images of an entity are received, environmental conditions in the vicinity of the entity are determined, and deterioration of the entity is predicted, based at least in part, on the one or more images of the entity and the environmental conditions, using one or more machine learning models. The one or more images of the entity indicate a first state of the entity, the deterioration includes change in the state of the entity from the first state to a second state, and the prediction includes estimation of the time required for the state of the entity to change from the first state to the second state. The one or more machine learning models include a multimodal regression model, whose outputs include the estimated time and a level of deterioration.
