A plant identification method includes: obtaining a plant image and a question text about identifying a plant in the plant image; inputting the plant image and the question text into a plant knowledge question-answering model, the plant knowledge question-answering model including a visual model configured to receive the plant image to extract image features of the plant image, and a large language model configured to receive the image features and the question text to identify the plant in the plant image, the large language model is provided for further pre-training using a synthesized corpus generated based on a plant domain corpus on the basis of being pre-trained, the plant knowledge question-answering model is trained using multimodal data; and outputting an answer text about identifying the plant in the plant image provided by the plant knowledge question-answering model.
