Aureobasidium melanogenum CNBG-PGPF-1 deposited with China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center on May 22, 2023 under accession number CGMCC No. 40635. Microbial formulation comprising A. melanogenum CNBG-PGPF-1 or fermentation broth filtrate thereof. Preparation method of said fermentation broth filtrate comprising the steps: obtaining mycelium plugs from freshly cultured A. melanogenum CNBG-PGPF-1 using a puncher, placing mycelium plugs into potato dextrose broth (PDB) medium, collecting fermentation broth after culturing in the dark for 7-10 days, filtering the fermentation broth through gauze, and diluting with sterile distilled water to obtain the fermentation broth filtrate. Application of A. melanogenum CNBG-PGPF-1 and said microbial formulation in promoting plant growth. Spore concentration in the microbial formulation may be 5x10^4– 2x10^5 spores/mL, and the plant may comprise one or both of Arabidopsis thaliana and tomato. Application may comprise co-culture of the plant and the A. melanogenum CNBG-PGPF-1 on a solid culture medium for plant and endophytic fungi. [Figure 6]
