The plant cultivation method comprises introducing an inducing medium into an initial plant and subsequently cultivating the plant to obtain a target plant which contains no inducing medium and has optimized traits compared with the initial plant. The inducing medium can induce demethylation of 6-methylated bases in plant RNA. The plant cultivation method can be used for obtaining plants which has optimized traits and contains no initially introduced inducing medium.
