Such methods include producing a cucumber plant exhibiting resistance to CABYV, comprising introgressing genomic regions conferring disease resistance; or selecting a cucumber plant exhibiting resistance to CABYV. Compositions, including polymorphic markers for detecting plants comprising introgressed disease resistance alleles, are further provided.
