The method is characterized by the fact that to obtain plants, male-sterile tomato specimens are used as the mother plant, castration is carried out in buds 1-2 days before flower opening and the stigma of the pistil is treated with a 10 μM aqueous solution of zeatin 10-120 minutes before pollination with pollen of Solanum glaucum, from the 22nd to the 35th day after pollination, the enlarged ovules are inoculated onto a Murashig-Skoog nutrient medium with the addition of 30 g/l sucrose, 5 mg/l BAP, 0.01 mg/l IAA, 8 g/l agar-agar, pH = 5.7 and cultivated until shoots appear, after which the shoots are transferred to a Murashig-Skoog nutrient medium containing 20 g/l sucrose, 2 mg/l NAA, 8 g/l agar-agar, pH 4.0 for rooting.
EFFECT: increase in fruit set and the production of plants from immature ovules.
