METHOD FOR CREATING SOYBEANS WITH REDUCED BEANY FLAVOR

The present disclosure discloses a method for creating a soybean with a reduced beany flavor. The method can lower a content of a beany-flavor compound in a soybean. The simultaneous inhibition on the expression of lipoxygenase and fatty acid desaturase genes or proteins encoded thereby can significantly reduce the content of a beany-flavor compound in a plant or reduce the beany flavor of the plant, especially the beany flavor of soybean.
