Fuente: WIPO "tomato"
The present invention relates to the field of agricultural machinery and concerns a machine (1 ) for harvesting tomatoes having a longitudinal direction (x) and a sorting side (C), comprising: - a loading belt (2) on which the cut plants bearing the tomatoes, the ripe tomatoes (PM) and the unripe tomatoes (PV) already detached from said plants, and any foreign bodies (S) are loaded; - a feed belt (3), positioned consecutively to said loading belt (2), but with the interposition of a gap (D), adapted to feed said cut plants towards shaker means; - an interceptor cross belt (5), arranged orthogonally to said direction of longitudinal extension (x), located below said gap (D) and adapted to recover the fallen material therefrom; - a soil removal belt (6) fed by said interceptor belt (5). Said gap (D) allows the passage of the loose tomatoes (PM, PV) already detached from the plants and any foreign bodies (S) and the dropping thereof down onto said interceptor cross belt (5), adapted to convey them towards said soil removal belt (6). Said interceptor cross belt (5) is adapted to transfer the dropped material from said gap (D) towards the sorting side (C). Said soil removal belt (6) is positioned crosswise to said direction of longitudinal extension (x) of said machine (1 ), extends upwards as a continuation of said interceptor cross belt (5) and is adapted to carry out a first separation, transferring the foreign bodies (S) towards the outside of the machine (1 ), on the sorting side (C).
