The variety is characterized by taller plant height, early cupping, high tolerance to tip-burn, short cores, solid midribs, and heavy weight. The variety has genetic resistance to Tomato Bushy Stunt Virus, field tolerance to lettuce corky root rot (CPR), and resistance to downy mildew as well as fringe burn tolerance. The disclosure also include seeds of the variety, to the plants of lettuce variety DELUXE, to plant parts of lettuce variety DELUXE, to methods for producing a lettuce plant by crossing a plant of lettuce variety DELUXE with a plant of another lettuce variety, and to methods for producing a plant of lettuce variety DELUXE containing in its genetic material one or more backcross conversion traits or transgenes and to the backcross conversion lettuce plants and plant parts produced by those methods.
