Fuente: WIPO "tomato" A fungicidal composition according to present disclosure comprises an essential oil derived from Pistacia atlantica including alpha-pinene, at least one surfactant, and at least one fatty acid. The composition is effective in rupturing fungal cell walls and demonstrates efficacy against multiple fungi. The composition may be formulated as an emulsion suitable for spray application. A method of preparation, involving extraction of the essential oil and mixing with surfactants and fatty acids, is also disclosed. The disclosed fungicidal composition eliminates the requirement for a preharvest interval (PHI).
