In some forms, the compositions include: (a) hydrocolloid such as gelatin and (b) liquid juice (preferably including electrolytes)/soup component, optionally in combination with one or more additional ingredients selected from (c) a spice, (d) sweetening agent, (e) an oil, (f) a flavoring acid, (g) cocoa and (h) a pepper.
