In certain aspects, the disclosure provides the use of such dihydrochalcone compounds to enhance an alcoholic (ethanolic) flavor of a beverage, for example, a low-alcohol or zero-alcohol beverage. In certain other aspects, the disclosure provides low-alcohol or zero-alcohol beverages containing such dihydrochalcone compounds.
