Fuente: WIPO "tomato" The present invention provides an automatic dishwashing composition comprising: a) 0.1 to 25 wt% carboxyalkyl tamarind having a carboxyalkyl degree of substitution DSCA of from 0.01 to 0.390, b) 0.001 to 10 wt% pH independent cationic polymer, c) 1 to 70 wt% builder, d) 0.2 to 40 wt% surfactant. The compositions inhibit the formation of scale spots and scale film on articles treated with the composition during an automatic dishwashing operation to provide good levels of shine to the treated articles. The compositions are especially effective on plastic articles (e.g. polypropylene articles), stainless steel articles and articles with non-stick coatings, such as ceramic coatings. The compositions are preferably multi-phase compositions which are preferably contained within a multi-compartment water-soluble container. The use of the compositions in automatic dishwashing operations and a method of manufacture of the compositions are also provided.
