The invention relates to a shaped lipid food composition comprising a combination of non-animal triglycerides, cellulose microfibrils, water and at least one of thermally gelling non-animal protein and/or non-protein emulsifier. The invention also provides a method for preparing the shaped lipid food composition and relates to a food product comprising the shaped lipid food composition.
