The process of the present disclosure is simple, environment friendly, economical and commercially viable. The process of the present disclosure provides 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-N-{2-[3-methoxy-4-(prop-2-yn-1-yloxy)phenyl]ethyl}-2-(prop-2-yn-1- yloxy)acetamide with a high purity and high yield.
