The invention belongs to the technical field of plant disease identification, and discloses a plant leaf disease identification method and system based on a deep dense residual module. A plant leaf image is subjected to feature extraction through a first feature extraction stage, a second feature extraction stage, a third feature extraction stage, a fourth feature extraction stage and a fifth feature extraction stage which are arranged in sequence, and finally a classification result is obtained through full connection layer processing of the fifth feature extraction stage. A deep dense residual module and a multi-head attention module with spatial bias are adopted, and the deep dense residual module can fully extract feature information of tomato leaf diseases from the second feature extraction stage to the fifth feature extraction stage. The multi-head attention module with spatial bias can extract global disease information of the image and actively shield irrelevant information, and the resource utilization rate is calculated to the maximum extent.
