Provided is a method for manufacturing a tomato sauce containing root vegetables. The method comprises: a material preparation step of cutting radish, burdock, carrot, and tomato into pieces having a size of 5 cm × 5 cm; and a secondary processing step of adding spices and boiling the ingredients together. According to the present invention, a sauce used for pizza is prepared by using root vegetables such as radish, burdock, and carrot, thereby enabling the intake of dietary fiber that cannot be obtained from pizza alone and providing an effect as a functional food.
