Led by Dr. Lars Bode, the MAC aims to uncover unknown components and their effects on health, potentially leading to therapeutic discoveries for conditions such as cardiovascular diseases and applications in sports nutrition. Supported by UC San Diego, MOMI CORE, and the NIH/NICHD MPRINT Center, the MAC seeks to position milk as a source of therapeutic solutions beyond infant nutrition.
