The invention provides a high-fat dairy product and a making method thereof, and belongs to the field of dairy products. The high-fat dairy product is mainly made from the following components in parts by weight: 100-150 parts of hydrolyzed emulsified materials, 15-50 parts of vegetable oil and 0.2-1.2 parts of an emulsifying agent, wherein the hydrolyzed emulsified materials comprise one or more of hydrolyzed whey protein powder, hydrolyzed desalination whey powder and hydrolyzed nonfat dry milk powder; the vegetable oil comprises one or more of soybean oil, coconut oil, corn oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil and sunflower oil; and the emulsifying agent comprises natural phosphatide or synthesis phosphatide. The dairy product contains a large number of proteolysis products, can provide rich hydrolyzed protein ingredients, contributes to absorption, digestion and improvement of mouth feel, and is high in nutrient value.
