OLIVE OIL ENRICHING METHOD WITH FUCOXANTIN

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fat and oil industry. Method for enriching olive oil with fucoxantin involves producing an alcohol extract from brown algae of the genus Cystoseira containing fucoxanthin. Mixing in equal proportions of alcohol extract, distilled water, olive oil with addition of 2 mg of table salt, stirring during 10 minutes with subsequent separation of oil fraction and washing with distilled water.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce olive oil enriched with fucoxantin suitable for use both in pure form, and in production of food products and biologically active substances.
