The invention provides an appetite-improving and digestion-promoting composition for making Fengshun rice cake. The composition is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15-25 parts by weight of hawthorn leaves, 15-25 parts by weight of false Chinese swertia herb, 1000 parts by weight of early indica rice, 5-10 parts by weight of rhizoma curcumae longae, 5-10 parts by weight of rhizoma alismatis, 5-10 parts by weight of processed tuber fleeceflower root, 5-10 parts by weight of rhizoma dioscoreae, 5-10 parts by weight of table salt, 1-5 parts by weight of fructus phyllanthi, 1-5 parts by weight of rice sprout, 1-5 parts by weight of katsumade galangal seed, 1-5 parts by weight of endothelium corneum gigeriae galli, 1-5 parts by weight of folium ginkgo, 1-5 parts by weight of radix astragali seu hedysari, 1-5 parts by weight of fortune eupatorium herb, 1-5 parts by weight of Chinese white olive, 5-15 parts by weight of spina date seed, 5-15 parts by weight of liquorice root and 1600-2300 parts by weight of pulping water. The invention also provides a making method of the Fengshun rice cake. The rice cake composition and the making method have the beneficial effect that a scheme with functions of improving appetite and promoting digestion is provided for making the Fengshun rice cake.
