The propagants are allowed to grow into a plant by exposing the propagants to water. The plant is removed from the growing media. With the plant removed, the growing media is used to fertigate other propagants or plants. The glass fibres comprise 20 to 90 mol% of P2O5, the glass fibres having a dissolution rate in water.
