The cationic polymer is adapted to assemble into a nanoparticle with the Cas protein, or nucleic acid encoding the same, and the guide RNA. The cationic polymer is also adapted to deliver the Cas protein and the guide RNA, or nucleic acids encoding the same, into a plant cell.
