Provided are a method for producing an extract of a biological tissue, including a step of decomposing extracellular matrix of the biological tissue with an enzyme; and a step of separating cells of the biological tissue and/or an extract of the biological tissue from the extracellular matrix by subjecting the biological tissue to separation, and a biological tissue processing apparatus for processing a mixed solution obtained by mixing a biological tissue and a solution containing an enzyme, including a housing container in which the mixed solution is housed and decomposition is conducted for decomposing extracellular matrix of the biological tissue in the mixed solution with the enzyme; and a separation device for separating cells of the biological tissue and/or an extract of the biological tissue from the extracellular matrix by applying a force to the biological tissue in the mixed solution.
