In particular, the present invention relates to the use of a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain and variants thereof, capable of inhibiting growth of phytopathogens, such as fungi and oomycetes including Fusarium culmorum, Fusarium oxysporum, Pythium irregulare, Pythium selbyi and Phytophthora sojae.
