The invention provides a novel energy-saving MVR device in tomato sauce production, and relates to the technical field of environmental resource energy conservation, the novel energy-saving MVR device comprises an MVR mechanical compression evaporation pre-concentration section and an MED multi-effect evaporation concentration section, the MVR mechanical compression evaporation pre-concentration section comprises an MVR falling film pre-concentrator and an MVR forced circulation thickening concentrator which are connected in sequence, and the MED multi-effect evaporation concentration section comprises an MED falling film pre-concentrator and an MED multi-effect evaporation concentration section. The MVR falling film pre-concentrator and the MVR forced circulation thickening concentrator are connected to form a secondary steam circulation loop, the MED multi-effect evaporation concentration section comprises a third thickening concentrator and a material inlet, and the MVR forced circulation thickening concentrator comprises an MVR forced circulation pre-concentration section, an MVR forced circulation final concentration section, a material outlet and a non-condensed steam outlet. The invention solves the problems that the concentration temperature can be qualified only by continuously compensating the temperature difference because the concentration temperature is gradually reduced after each concentration in the tomato sauce processing, producing and manufacturing process, otherwise, the tomato organic solvent cannot be circularly concentrated, the energy loss is huge, and the energy conservation and environmental protection are not facilitated.
